Clear expectations protect the relationship.
These terms describe the general boundaries of Trusted Digital Advisor services. Checkout-specific terms may add details for the service you purchase.
Effective date: September 2, 2026
Advisory service
Trusted Digital Advisor provides technology guidance, education, decision support, and limited remote assistance. We help clients understand options and choose next steps. The client remains responsible for final decisions and actions.
No guarantee of safety or outcome
Technology and fraud risks can be uncertain and change quickly. We do not guarantee that a message is safe, that a scam will be prevented, that data will never be lost, that an account will remain secure, or that a recommendation will produce a particular result.
Scope
Typical services include suspicious-message review, device and service decisions, setup guidance, account and recovery readiness, provider advocacy, education, digital organization, and family coordination with permission. We do not provide physical hardware repair, banking, legal, tax, accounting, investment, law-enforcement, identity-theft recovery, or emergency services.
Credentials and sensitive information
Do not send or disclose passwords, PINs, authentication codes, recovery codes, Social Security numbers, or full financial account information to Trusted Digital Advisor. We do not ask you to send or store these items. During a guided session, you may enter your own credentials yourself while keeping them private.
Remote sessions
Remote viewing or control is used only when appropriate and with your permission. You should remain present and in control during a remote session unless a different written arrangement has been expressly approved.
Membership and reasonable use
Membership provides the access and benefits shown on the pricing page and at checkout. Membership is not unlimited project labor or 24/7 emergency support. Repeated extended sessions, complex migrations, business systems, unsupported legacy equipment, or unusually time-intensive work may require an additional fee, separate scope, or referral. We will explain this before performing separately billable work.
Scheduling and response
Normal business hours are weekdays, 10 AM–6 PM Eastern. Response and appointment availability vary with volume and urgency. The service is not an emergency response channel.
Fees, renewals, and cancellation
Prices and billing frequency are shown before checkout. Recurring plans renew according to the checkout terms until cancelled. Monthly memberships may be cancelled before the next billing date. Annual plans are billed in advance unless checkout states otherwise. Refunds, if any, are governed by applicable law and the checkout terms for the purchase.
Care partners and adult members
When one adult purchases or arranges service for another adult, the person receiving service retains control over what may be shared with the purchaser or care partner, subject to applicable law and documented authorization.
Third-party products and services
We may discuss or recommend third-party products, services, providers, or resources. Their availability, pricing, security, terms, and performance are controlled by the third party. Unless expressly disclosed, our advice is intended to be independent and not driven by product commissions.
Client responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, maintain control of your credentials and accounts, review recommendations before acting, maintain appropriate backups where relevant, and contact the appropriate financial institution, platform, provider, law-enforcement agency, or emergency resource when an issue is outside our scope or requires immediate action.
Changes and termination
We may update service offerings, prices for future billing periods, or these terms with appropriate notice. We may decline or end service when a request is unsafe, unlawful, abusive, outside scope, or cannot be responsibly supported.
